Oh, hi!
It's Tricia Basilio, a.k.a. Poppy (or at least that's what I wanted to call myself then). I created this blog at the young age of 13, which is fairly normal for a Y2K baby who grew up on the internet. As a frustrated writer and artist, this was one of my many creative outlets. Now a 20-something teen girl at heart, I'm here to continue what I left - hopefully with less self-criticism and more not giving a fuck. I mean, dang, just look at my earlier works; why did I ever stop?
Let me reintroduce myself. I'm Tricia, a multimedia designer, iska graduate, morbid chocolate milk lover, cat mother, adventure seeker, avid concert-goer, ukay shopper, retired student filmmaker, fangirl of many things, Tumblr veteran, and the eldest daughter of an Asian household. I'd like to think that I'm a jill of all trades, but I can't dance, so who am I kidding?
Sincerely Poppy is a manifestation of my brain rot and eclectic taste. It's a peek at my adventures and how it feels like to be me (because, if we're being honest, I think I'm pretty cool). I love sharing my ideas and pretending that I'm a celebrity in an interview, and I guess this is close enough. To preserve the dignity of my teenage self's mental purge, I won't be editing my previous works anymore. If you insist on seeing them, I hope you're okay with reading texts in Georgia.
Hello there, love! I'm Tricia, a teenage idealist who likes writing and not finishing, listening to good music, being a couch potato and trying to create art. I'm a concoction between young adult novels, vampires, glitters and weird ideas. Chiefly, I'm the love child of Charlie Manson and Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls. Art is a constant element in my persona. Even as a kid, I have been into pretentious categories such as web-designing, video animation, sketching, graphic-making, creative writing and fashion. I refer to myself as an introverted extrovert as I love meeting people from different places, yet by the end of the day, all I long for is some unshared space, a box of choco drink and tv.
